Since 2008 they have played hundreds of gigs in clubs and at festivals not only in the Czech Republic and shared stages with internationally acclaimed rock'n'roll. The double bass, loud guitars and almost a “big band” brass section create an explosive mixture of punk, swing and rockabilly that makes any crowd dance in an instant.
While a pedal steel, a twangy guitar and deep meloancholic voice might conjure images of the American west, there is also something in the combination of sounds that can stir the hearts of people across the world. For these five wild punks of Prague’s Frankie & the Deadbeats, this dusty bucolic country sound is the perfect vehicle for their outlaw escapades.
