RENEGADE SOUNDMACHINE are Gary Asquith (co-founder & voice of Renegade Soundwave,Rema-Rema, DragonBass Soundsystem, The Lavender Pill Mob) and Renault Schubert (FILM 2, 17th Floor Productions, Futureboi). They play danceable electronic tunes with influences ranging from electro & minimal techno to dub and hiphop-styles – smart electronics with a serious low end, combining modern sounds and grooves with a classic vibe. Electronic songwriting for a house generation. The special mix of influences plus Gary Asquith's charismatic voice makes them sound as a logical, state-of-the-art follow-up to dancefloor pioneers Renegade Soundwave, although this wasn't the intention to start the band. In a live situation the tunes are remixed in realtime by Renault Schubert, while Gary Asquith is doing his vocals – a mix of a classical liveshow and a more DJ/MC-like style which leaves lots of space for surprise…
