VERNISÁŽ - "People of Mozambique"
Lidé z Mozambiku byli zachyceni na fotografiích v roce 2010 v severní provincii Cabo Delgado, ve městě Pemba a na ostrově Ilha do Ibo. Na ostrov se jede tradiční lodí, která slouží k přepravě osob, koz, pytlů sušených ryb a všeho možného. Na ostrově není elektřina, voda se bere ze společné studny, mají tam tři auta a foťák je pro mnohé novinkou. Záměrem výstavy "People of Mozambique" je podělit se o zkušenosti z Mozambiku a krásných setkání s místními lidmi, více než představit autorky jako fotografky.
Photos of Mozambique showing the best of it´s people. Pictures were taken in 2010 in North Province of Cabo Delgado-Pemba and Ilha do Ibo, a remote island with no electricity, 3 cars and a common well for water. Where even a camera can be an unusual object and for many, seeing themselves on the digital camera a first time. In order to get to the island you need to take a traditional boat which serves all: people, goats, sacks of dry smelly fish and anything else. . .through the mangroves to the island. . simply magical. . This exhibition has the objective of sharing an experience and spreading the word about this country´s beautiful welcoming people, rather than presenting the authors as photographers. Each picture is a precious reminder that everyone, regardless of how much they have, have so much to give.
